For over 60 years, Berg Faircloth & Company has strived to maintain a reputation for highly personalized accounting services for business owners and individuals alike. It is our mission to assist clients to attain financial health and benefit from an organized tax and accounting strategy.

Professional accomplishment of which you are most proud.
The professional accomplishment I am most proud of is being only one of 30 CPAs selected to attend the AICPA Leadership Academy. During the leadership academy I attended career development workshops with some of the accounting profession's most prominent influencers.

Most significant nonprofit work/community involvement.
As a cancer survivor, I am involved in Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a cancer walk that celebrates survivors, caretakers, volunteers, and honors and remembers loved ones. Relay for Life helps to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Personal background and family information.
I have lived in Loudoun County since 1994. I graduated and attended Round Hill Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle and Loudoun Valley High School. I have three brothers, three sons, and a beautiful wife who also works with me at the firm. I have a rescue dog and a rescue cat.

Who do you consider a personal or professional mentor and how did that person help you.
I consider my grandfather Oscar Faircloth, who started the business, to be my personal and professional mentor. He has experienced a lot and always has great advice for me. He has encouraged me to work hard and has taught me a lot about the business. We enjoy working together and think similarly.

Favorite hobby or activity, other than work and family.
I really enjoy playing golf. There are a lot of great golf courses in Loudoun County. I was team captain of both my high school and college golf teams. I also enjoy exercising to reduce stress.

Favorite thing about living/working in Loudoun.
My favorite thing about living and working in Loudoun is the beauty of the area and being able to work with very talented professionals. I am thankful to be able to raise my family here.
